Class 37 on NMT?

Hi all,
saw two DRS 37's top n tailed on possibly a NMT go through Newcastle.

Can anyone confirm this?

might have been the OHLE test train they are yellow Mk1 coach's, if it was a Full Mark 2 rake then it would have been the NMT (Spare set).

thanks for that, i've got a funny feeling that there was only one yellow carriage with a pant on it.

Not seen that one yet up here.

There is only one NMT, and that is the HST.

Over the summer it was operated by DRS 37s due to the NMT being broken. I believe the NMT HST is now fixed but if it breaks it will substituted by EWS 67s

Actually there is more than one. The other (s) is/are used for where the HST is not route cleared.

For instance on the GEML its an old unit.

All those other trains (painted yellow or not) are test/ measurement trains, but they are not the "New Measurement Train".

So how do you explain the "New Measurement Train" labels on the yellow coaches on the rake at Euston?
