altho operated by northern, these west yorkshire PTE owned units are to under go internal refurbishments and a new lick of paint to match the already refurbished 156s.
155346 is the first to be treated

It will be similar to the liveries carried by 150145 and 156469 (blue with adverts). As a side note, 321902 is at Kilmarnock being refurbished to a similar standard to the Scottish 322's, and will be returned in Metro red with semi circles. After the 155's, I think its the 158's turn in the paint shop.

158752-759 will be Northern blue.
158787/792-796/901-910 will be Metro Red.

Thats apparently how its going to be at the moment. I think 158793 will be released into service soon, possibly after repainting? If this is true, then it means that Northern are finaly pulling their finger out in the paintshop department!

i dont think the northern livery will look gud on 158s. it'll make them look more ugly i think.
Altho saying that, it suits 156/155s already painted

If you think a 158 would look bad, don't turn around when a 142 gets done (if ever)!
