the First prefix to the franchises sounds so blumin' stupid and . and come on only they can think off something as bad as Capital Connect. when they advertise they gunna have 15% APR slogans all over there advert?

Its no worse then Arriva Trains [Location] or Connex [location]

Well whats so bad about it? Just because it sounds like a credit company? News flash, all trains are owned by banks anyway so whats the big deal. As said, there are far worse names out there.

Travel direct with First Capital Connect.

Dont think thats thier slogan but it sounds good to me.

Apparently Capital Connect is an old brand name for the GN services from Network South East Days

So it might not be such a silly name!

No-one's denying that Capital Connect isn't catchy but sticking First on the front is pathetic.

Arriva Trains Capital Connect?

Same is true of Stagecoach's Bus Division where Devon General became Stagecoach Devon

i have no complaints about FCC, certinly less of a mouthful than West Anglia Great Northern.

They did actually eventually drop West Anglia Great Northern from most things..
