ECML Slow/Fast line workings

Post by ntanswell »

Hi,

You may be aware that i am making some activitys for EB East Coast Express, I am trying to make them as realistic as possible yet I live nowhere near the ECML and would like a bit of advice on what WAGN trains run on the fastlines and which run on the slow.
Currently I am aware of two service types that run to Peterbourgh from the cross. The xx21 That calls at Finsbury Park,Stevenage and all stations to Peterbourgh. I have routed it on the slows to Finsbury Park, where it crosses over onto the fast until Hitchin, where it stays on the slow all the way to Peterbourgh. there is also another peterbourgh train that class at potters Bar, Welwyn GC, Welwyn North, Knebworth,Stevenage and all stations to Peterbourgh. I have pathed this service on the slow lines all the way.
I have discovered 3 Cambridge trains, one that goes all the way to the Cambridge branch without stopping, which i have pathed on the fast lines all the way and one that goes on the slow to Finsbury Park, then crosses onto the fast and calls at Stevenage, crosses over onto the slow before Hitchin, and another one that calls at Finsbury park, potters bar etc which i have routed on the slow all the way. I know about several services that don't follow tis pattern like the 1640 that runs non stop all the way to st neots.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I think the semi-fasts that stop at Potters Bar use the fast lines between Finsbury Park and the points south of Potters Bar.
