Jubilees

Hi everyone,

It's me again. Just wondering if any of you guys could tell me which jubilees were fitted with the short firebox. This is essential information for me as it is for a modelling project.

The ones I am particularly interested in are;

45588 - Kashmir.
45598 - Basutoland.
45599 - Bechuanaland.
45634 - Trinidad.
45635 - Tobago.
45693 - Agamemnon.
45704 - Leviathan.

Although if you have details on any other members of the class I would love to know.

Hi there - a quick way might be to have a look at http://www.jubilees.co.uk - a superb site, it has photos of all the class.

Right here goes Fred.....

45552 to 45664 were all the Short Firebox Variants.

45665 to 5742 were the Long firebox Variants.

So 45588, 45598, 45599, 45634 and 45635 all had Short Fireboxes, but 45693 and 45704 were fitted with Long Fireboxes.
