Did Basingstoke & London Waterloo today. Though I could cheat like the rest of you and say Hook, Winchfield, Fleet, Farnborough, Brookwood, Woking, West Byfleet, Byfleet & New Haw, Weybridge, Walton on Thames, Hersham, Esher, Surbiton, Berrylands, Raynes Park, Wimbledon, Earlsfield, Clapham Jcn, Queenstown Road, and Vauxhall. But I didn't get on or off at either.

Also done Euston, Rugby and Stafford this year.

Did you get off at all those stations?

Here's an idea, from 00:00 1/1/06, when you get back from a Railway Station/Journey, you post the names of the stations you have stopped at, and alighted the train. :)

As for your missing stations around Sleaford, I suspect the list was maybe intended to be: ...Lincoln, Metheringham, Ruskington, Sleaford, Spalding...?

Technically not open to the public anyway, so it doesn't count! I find myself wondering why every train stops there, instead of just being as required and arranged between the Marines and Great Western.

A bunch of Royal Marine Commandos. Allowing any form of public access could compromise secrecy and security. Training methods, tactics, and special equipment are best kept secret. Of course the Marines could always plant 'detonators' on the rails whenever they need to hail the train as the SAS used to do on the Marches Line...

It has been a Request stop for a year or so now.

Saturday Afternoons are very busy there as the trainees are allowed out to Exmouth/Exeter for the afternoon
