Does any now what engines are expected the return to steam in 2006? I now 60007 :D :D is but what else is?

Will be great when have 2 A4s on the mainline. They really are great locos! I'm looking forward to my trip behind 60009 on 10th December :P

Does this include preserved lines?

I think the WSR's West Country 'Braunton' is going to be finished either next year or 2007. Hopefully next year

Yes, the frames have been complete for more than 6 months just waiting for the boiler to be finished at Grosmont although work has slowed due to 60007's boiler and the k1s cracked firebox.

60019 (allegedly) as well. 3 A4s, then...

With a bit of luck 45060 (D100) will return to "steam" at some point.

Also SR built LMS 8F 48624 at Peak Rail is hoped to be ready in 2006.

you never know what might happen !
I heared on the bush telegraph that the NRM might restore it when NELPG have enough funds, well they need to do something to keep them busy !
