One Confusion

Post by antont »

England Under 21's are playing there French equivalents in a playoff match to qualify for next summer's U21 Euro Championships tomorrow evening. The match is being played at Spurs' White Hart Lane stadium.

So having obtained a ticket for the match, I phoned One Railway to see if they were stopping Cambridge trains at Northumberland Park to allow fans to alight for the stadium, a common occurence when Spurs are at home. The lady at one said that as it's only the Under 21's and a small crowd was expected (26,000+ tickets sold so far) they wouldn't be stopping extra trains at Northumberland Park, so would have to change at either Tottenham Hale or Cheshunt. However, upon checking not only the National Rail but also the Q Jump website for train times, I find that Cambridge trains are stopping at Northumberland Park!!!

A phone call back to One later and they are adamant that no trains are stopping tomorrow night at Northumberland Park and their system says so.

So what I want to know, before I drive all the way, is who is telling the truth?? I know someone from Tottenham Hale contributes here, so perhaps he may know!!!

thanks

Anton

Cambridge trains are stopping there to take you to and from the match.

Thanks; Trains did indeed stop at Northumberland Park and thanks to overhead probelms the train home was virtually empty as everyone got the late running Stanstead (all stations) train!!

England drew 1-1 btw!!
