LOL what is it with Local papers? aviation fuel? well in the past, that was ultra high octane petrol...nowerdays, I assume its kerosene (thats parrafin if you didn't know) Now you can run a diesel engine on parrafin as long as you add a lubricant to it like 2 stroke oil, but petrol will kill a diesel within seconds...so whats the nob on about?

I know the air ambulance was in attendance, but I'd hardly expect the area to reek of aviation fuel.

Unfortunately most people's railway knowledge ends somewhere between Thomas and Hornby, most transport correspondents included, but often people think that by travelling by train they therefore know everything.

Some Hysterical Woman passenger wrote:Laura added: "I travel from Barrow to Preston every day. This will make me think twice about travelling by train. It has really shocked me."
And no doubt if she switches to driving down the A590 and M6 every day she will also think twice about driving to work when she sees or is even involved in the inevitable multi-car pile up which happen far more frequently. Presumably if she goes a*se over t*t on an icy pavement this winter she will think twice about walking. There again, she might scald herself on the kettle, so obviously she won't feel much like a cup of tea after that.

Get some backbone, woman, and put your brain in gear.
