Bad news I'm afraid, it'll kinda put a downer on the weekend for me anyway.........the main attraction failed!

Nope I just know what's on the webpage, though I've sent a txt of enquiry to a reliable source who knows most things KWVR.

Hi

Just been told from a man who knows. Super D got gummed up injectors. so i gonna be a wait and see.

Lets hope it does get fixed as i going to gala

As of Thursday evening the L&NWR Super D has been repaired and will operate the advertised trains throughout the weekend."

Nice shots!!! Was it busy there today? Dosn't look like there were many people about in some of the pics? With the Super D being an engine with steaming fees so high (more than twice that of Truro) + transport etc. they are going to need to rake in some serious cash before they can make a profit. The WSR dropped it from there gala because of the very high fees

It wanst too busy today, but busy none the less, from what Ive heard today it was heaving, but as usualy the beerex was packed, a few pints of beer was consumed!

Must have changed there minds!!!!! Perhaps due to Duke of Gloucester withdrawing???? I do know they were against hiring it because of the extortionate steaming fees, Oh well, learn something new everyday :wink:
