Ith's a mystery
No not a Toyah resurgance.
I was at Wolverhampton station today about 5.15 and a DMU left from the other side towards Birmingham. I know the destination indicators are usually dim but I'm sure that this one said 'Mystery Excursion'.
Know you of such a thing or was the driver having a laugh?

I remember seeing Hunstanton on a "heritage" DMU in New Street back in the 1980's, nearly twenty years after Hunny had closed. Some of the Class 310's also had destinations which were well off the wires "just in case" they were ever electrified. Windermere is one that I do remember, but there were others.
