Steam Dreams Forum

Hi

I see its been closed for good - given the sensible and informative threads that were on it ( ) I can't say I'm devastated :)

Unfortunatley there were people on that site who knew what they were talking about and that info/knowledge will disappear unless someone starts another forum. It is a shame that the "kiddies" just want to slag each other off and fill any forum with drivel, and why people want to get personal because someone else expresses an opinion they do not agree with I do not understand. It is a sad loss to sensible discussion on the world of steam. This site had similar "personal " problems and was swiftly and competently handled, and I think that is what Steam Dreams should have done rather than close the forum.

I agree with Hercules, I'm personally very sorry that the forum has gone. There are plenty of forums which focus on modern traction, but not enough on steam.

Could see this coming a mile off, I for one liked to contribute every now and then but all of sudden the forum was inundated with what can only be described as idiots.

its a crying shame as most youngsters on this forum use those with more knowledge and experience to learn, and that could very much have been the case on this forum if only they had taken one step back and listened to wha was being said.

Oh well - more time to post here now
