Disturbing Rumours

Post by gblandford »

There has been some Rumours going around the south west that there will be no capacity increase because of the cross London rail project.

This is not fear since southwest is treated like the whipping boy of the country.

I think you'll find every part of the UK has a complex about being the whipping boy whilst the sout east gets all the investment.

They probably all have a point, TBH.

I think it's the result of that government policy of gently explaining to everyone that the government is doing something for a fictional 'more deserving' person / area.

Now that London has the Olympics I think you can safely assume that nowhere else is going to get a look in on anything much for the next 10 years.

Chris23 since when has anyone got a look in anyway ?On the bittern line One has recently downgraded stock, and now has combinations of 150/153/156 classes running on the line. A lot of the line is also in need of minor repair and removal of weeds (Look at west of cromer for example) Yet no money is put in because of London. just have to get used 2 it
