it'd take about 15minutes to take away the related shoes 4 on each power car and wires + the switch in the drivers cabs, it gives eurostar a chance to add another continental power supply in. London - Rome maybe.

I thought OOC was shortly to be bolldozed to become a through line to the other side of London for whatever political, sorry,passenger requirement for cross London traffic?

I was wondering where the portal would be, but then it doesnt take that much space to dive underground. Just look at the CTRL Section 2, its like a rollercoaster!

There'll be the 3rd rail specific power equipment too, probably things like Circuit Breakers, inverters, transformers... OK they have to work on 3kV DC as well, and I would imagine there is some common gear, but there will be more than shoes and a switch associated with the 750. As for whether is's modular etc etc, I don't know, but I would expect some of it to be fairly simple as these are modern trains.
