RailCops last night... That bloody woman! GRRRRRR!

Post by Fodda »

Don't know her name as I only watched the last half, but she was the mouthy woman PC who loved the Orient Express but didn't want to appear to be an "anorak".

Anyway, first look at her and she's telling a young fare-dodger not to swear or she'd arrest him for that, then not 2 minutes later is F'ing and blinding to camera and even uses bad language at the young lad! What a stupid woman, and a very poor example to set.

Later on she starts on about how people should have to pass some form of arbitrary test of her own devising before being allowed to leave their houses. I think Hitler and his eugenics crew had this self-same idea 60 years ago. What a stupid woman being given air-time to express these dangerous and outmoded fascistic views.

To crown it all off and make her "Stupidest and most dangerous cop I've seen in a long time" she was having to deal with a couple and their dog who were "annoying" police dogs. Fair enough, the couple did seem to be a bit stupid themselves and needed some police attention.

BUT... She witnesses the woman beating the man up, and lets them both go on their way because "It's just a domestic and he won't press charges". She even has a laugh about how violent the woman was being, the geezer having cuts to his head and a huge black eye.

Would she have reacted the same way if the bloke had given the same injuries to the woman? I very much doubt it. Stupid PC Bint thought it was all a laugh...

I hope somehow she loses her job, and bloody quickly. I don't want to see nasty people like that given air-time.

Absolutely! If all coppers act like that, how can you expect them to be trusted?

It's a farce and I can't imaging why BTP allow such a tacky sort of programme to be made about them.

They're bound to show the worst, and therefore most likely behaviour to increase ratings. Not one to the watch programmes 'cos it's got a train in it' , I don't bother with it :-?

I missed it, because I was watching Bad Lads Army! But I did flick through for a second to hear her comments on the Orient Express.

Bad Lads Army was my programme of choice last night!

Problem is, unlike Airline, the BTP can't win with the 'any publicity is good publicity' front - if it's bad there is outcry and derision, and a mistrust of the BTP in general

I only watched part of it, and she did come across a bit of a gobsh***, but I do think she was entitled to vent her spleen at the pillock who was mouthing off at her when she was trying to evacuate the station. There was a bomb scare and all he could do was try and block the gates from being shut. He was playing up to the camera, (although I will grant him the point why was the camera crew allowed to stay?) and if I had been a passenger being evacuated I think I would have been sorely tested not to push him under the train or accidentally swing a rucksack into his b***s. He was stupid, too stupid to live, and frankly a walking advertisement for Eugenics. She may have been too much elsewhere, but that in that instance I was right behind her and wishing her to shut the gates on his idiotic hand, or arrest him.

No doubt if it had been a real bomb, and he had been injured, he would have been first to get the equally odious Louise Christian or similar self publicising ambulance chasing lawyer/agitators in to sue the BTP.

Unfortunately she's suffering from BBS (or Big Badge Syndrome!).
Symptoms include: dual rules; and an unshrinkable ego!

I personally found her quite reasonable, fair enough she was a bit of a hypocrite, and I didnt really mind the 'Anorak' comment, as only the day previously, Trainspotters everywhere were subjected to P**staking on 106 Century FM's Love Lines.

They had a woman come on and gave out a list of the 10 most pathetic hobbies, 2) Trainspotting, 1)Bus-spotting and Collecting Bits of String, I wonder if I should go on and give my list out, 3) Talking endlessly about how much you like Shoes, 2) Talking endlessly about your child, 1) Having a hobby about making up silly lists about pathetic hobbies.

I really wanted to send them an E-Mail, however, I was a tad too scared at what they would say on air :x

Centruy 106 FM.

A home for mentally bewildered mullett hairdo'ed drug addled 80's drop outs. A sort of Signal Radio without the history.

Don't worry, the only audience listening would have been the producer and the engineer. Even the proprietor would probably be tuned to Classic FM.

LOL

I love Century FM, they are the biggest growing Radio Station in the East Midlands, only problem is, Shirly-Ann and Helen dont like Transpotters.

All I say is that at least its a hobby that doesnt involve cute little animals getting hurt.

Except the Annoying Flying variety that we like to swat, or run around screaming with them following on our tail.

I only wish the BTP had been a bit more sociable in the 1980s! I actually thought she presented a common sense side to the job - anyone that can remember the BTP waking you up on WCML overnights at Preston to check your tickets and threatening the phone your parents at 3am (when they knew where you were and you had a valid ticket) would have appreciated this particular officer. Fond memories of Lime St BTP - got taken to the offices there off the down sleeper (45117 from Crewe, what a beast) to be questioned about what was I doing there, where did I get the money to pay for an all-line rover etc., etc.,

Give them a break - it's a . job and she's playing to the camera!
Lost your love of life? Too much apple pie!

I would Alister, I'm singling her out in particular. If she thinks that having a laugh about a bloke receiving head injuries and a black eye due to domestic violence is great TV, then not only should she lose her job, but she should be punished also.

Would she have done the same thing if the bloke had battered the woman in her view? Had a laugh and chucked them out? If so, then at least she's consistantly nasty, if not then she's two-faced and dangerous.

It's her I hate, not the Police of any force.

Im sorry but it was painfully clear that she was not laughing at the fact that he was beat up, she was laughing at the fact that he thaught he was a big boy and all that, and yet gets told off and hit by his Girlfriend/Wife.

Does that make somebody a bad person? No.

How many times have you watched something on You've Been Framed or Kirsty's Home Video's of some idiot falling down a mountain a laughed your a**e off, it's the same thing, except it happened to somebody who thaught he was the big cheese.
