NE/SW TOC

Post by curate »

This is, I hope, a simple question (or maybe two questions):

Immediately after Privitisation, which TOC ran the NE/SW services? And were they still run with HSTs at that time?

Virgin Cross Country operated this franchise until 2007. Trains were a mixture of HSTs and 47 + Mk 2 coaches initially

Thank you.
I had a feeling it would be Virgin.
Which is not a sentence one should use in an idle fashion.

Thanks again,
