Class 66 with non-bogie vans south of Crewe

Post by Gatso »

Can anyone identify the wagons I saw today between Crewe and Stafford. I was too far away to get a clear picture but I could make out they were 4 wheelers and fairly long like VDA's. There were about 20 to 30 of them behind the 66.

MoD traffic perhaps? I don't know how much they still move by rail.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.
