Voyager with HST power?!

I work in Redditch and go past the Lickey Incline every day.
I am sure I saw a Voyager today with a HST power car at one end?
Is that possible?!
It certainly made me look twice but it was gone before I could double check.

Not without some very heavy modifications to the couplings! Getting the two different brake systems to play ball would be a bit of a challenge as well

Could it have been that there was a voyager on one line and a HST on the other, so from the angle you where looking at the two trains it made them look like they where both on the same track?

Or perhaps a cross-country liveried HST?

Must have been both on seperate lines then as suggested.
I go under the line so it was side on as I approached so would have been difficult to distinguish the two tracks.
It wasn't XC liveried. that was the reason I noticed it, as the Voyager bit was normal XC colours and the HST unit was, I think, National Express or very similar pale colours.
