Gatwick Express consists

Gatwick Express loco hauled services typically comprised a mix of Class 73/2, 488/2, 488/3 and 489. Obviously the 73/2 and 489 were positioned at either end, however I am unclear as to the combination of the 488/2 and 488/3 used in the sets?

I would therefore be grateful for any information on the consist composition?

Hi Alec

It seems that it was this, each train was formed of two 488/3 three-car sets and one 488/2 two-coach set.

Thanks for the answer - should have more carefully looked at the highlighted site - and can now set up a suitable consist.
