Crewe Heritage Centre Class 37 50th year event

Hi one and all just like to mention that Crewe Heritage Centre are holding a weekend event in support of the Centre and also 50 years of the Class 37, details are below

Crewe Heritage Centre are holding a Family weekend event in support of the Centre and also incorporates The 50 years of the Class 37 diesel Locomotive. It takes place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November from 10.00 till 4.00pm. Prices are Adults £5, Family £10, Child/Oap £3, Concessions £2.
There will be a variety of exhibits Including Full size Class 37 Loco's,( courtesy of DRS ) photographic displays, Vintage bus rides from the Railway station ( 1st one at 10.30 am ), Model railways, refreshments, APT, Class 47, Class 87, raffle prizes, Trade stands including Bachmann, Class 03 brake van rides , Miniature Railways working, Real Ale stand, Various Steam locomotives, 3 signal boxes open, Class 37 preservation groups, other items to be arranged

We are hoping to get 6 Class 37's, all being well ( we got 2 already )Should make a great weekend. Brian

But if you get all of them there, will there be enough space left to run any trains? :o :lol:

Hi,
yeah we can still run the brake van rides we should now ,ore on Thursday how many we got. So ile let people know then :)
