Classes 420 (8DIG) and 482 (8MIG)

Post by rufuskins »

Further clarification is required for the liveries carried by the above.

Class 420(8DIG) was formed from 4CIG+4BIG in 1993 and ran until 1996. Could someone please advise what livery they ran in?

Class 482(8MIG) was formed from 4CIG+RMB+3CIG in 1983 and ran during that summer. Could someone please confirm that they ran in BR Blue-Grey livery?

I'm keen on getting my own EMU Trainset in some sort of order!

Thanks in advance, Ruf

The former would've been in NSE livery and the latter ran in Blue and Grey :)

Many thanks for the information, and once I have finished creating 488/2 and 488/3 sets for the Gatwick Express I will move onto creating Class 420 and Class 482 sets from the available stock.
