Thats not the intention - they were only done to illustrate a point in the thread! (I think the 60 looks better in that livery than most of the others I have seen!)

That's a shame but I agree that BR blue was the best livery ever carried.

Basildd - The 60's look quite smart.... Supposing we were bribe EWS to repaint a couple of their clas 60's into your liveries.... Would that persuade Casper to release the two models as they would therefore be prototypically correct?

PS - Does anyone know of any EWS paintshop staff who take bribes

Well I suppose when someone eventually preserves one it will end up painted all sorts of different liveries - if someone had painted a two tone green 50 two years ago there would have been howls of protests about it not being realistic - now we have D444 in that very colour. If there is really some interest in the non standard livery then I may well put 60001 up in the large logo blue - I won't be doing so with the BR Blue version because it doesn't come out very well due to the methods of construction used in the building of the model (the screenshot was modified slightly before posting!)...

Well, as already stated, the all blue one isn't good enough in itself' to be able to be uploaded as the pic had to be altered to complete it (the structure of the model in TSM doesn't allow for the yellow window surrounds in the correct way, but I like the large logo one so will upload that as my 100th contribution to UKTrainsim (so you won't have to wait too long!)

Well hopefully it will be uploaded sometime today - it is in a queue behind some freightliner 66's at the moment!

The large logo one is mine (with bits done by Casper), the blue one was Caspers and I tried to finish it but couldn't. Casper is the one who chops down trees (as JD will testify!)
