Class 309

Post by kyle14uk »

Anyone making one of these emus. They are my favourite emu and I would love to see one. I think there was some drawings available on a website cant remember where but I'll try and find it. Anyway could be a few decent liveries to go with it aswell:-
-Network South East
-Jaffa Cake
-BR Green
-RR with green stripe
-RR with First logo
-NSE with no red stripe
The windows could be varied too as early versions had wrap around one but many were removed.
Anyway I'll stop whittering on now :) . So anyone fancy making one?

I have many happy memories travelling on these between Liverpool st and Brentwood during the 80's and it would be great to see them in MSTS

I'll try anything once - anyway there has to be a questionmark over the fact that people may not actually want loadhaul and transrail liveried 309's! :)

(I could be tempted with more prototypical ones though!)

The closest I found to a 309 was this 310
Image
I had a choice to go on one of these at Ipswich or go on a nex Anglia 170, to go to Liverpool Street.

I choose the 170, bad choice......

The 310 is an express train that is used during peak hours (Even though I saw it at night once). The MSTS train should be in First Great Eastern Livery. Thinking of that when is someone gonna make a modern electrified First great eastern line and alongside the 309/10 a 321 and 315.
