not that I know of, but there's a choice of 3 routes it can go.

Via Falkirk,
Via Shotts,
Via Carstairs.

Choice is there.

When I was in Scotland the other monday I went from Glasgow to Edinburgh via Falkirk High and returned via Shotts. I could of gone back via Cumbernald. But went via Carstairs instead back to Kings Cross.

They should open the Bathgate to Airdrie section and electrify it, then GNER could beat Virgin next septmeber ;)

Same here, although I was there a week or two ago.

Next time I'm going the Virgin route and try to sit on a Pendolino as a passenger.

Never going on a Sleeper again lol, well might do if they decide not to give everyone a rough ride as they split the train at Carstairs.

Theres a commercial Glasgow route being planned for release sometime next year.

I had a berth and I don't recall getting any sleep either. You can tell you were entering a neutral section as the whining stops then starts again. I was lucky to be in the middle of the coach, not sure what I would of done if I was over the bogies.

Still I was lucky the stranger underneath me didn't snore.

My tip, don't face your back to the direction of travel, you get a feeling you're going to fall out the bunk.

The current version of the Fife route I'm creating includes Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street. All trackwork is placed. Scenery will be later. The sub line through Slateford is placed and can be extended to Glasgow Central via Shotts, etc. If that happens, don't expect it until this time next year though.

Got a 47 plugged on at Carstairs on the way back to get round Edinburgh.

One man asks me where we are. Carstairs i say. Eh? he says this train doens't go to carstairs.

Haven't a clue what was put on at Waverley on the way down. It just felt diesel.. and the lack of OHL on the route we took suggests that too.

Kerr: How can you possibly call the route Fife now? Its gonnae be Centrul Belt at this rate.
