There isn't one, sorry. I have an insane hankering to do the Stockton & Darlington one day, complete with stone block sleepers and animated horses...
Needs an inclined plane animation too.

Don't think MSTS deals too well with animal instructions though.
Like for the accelerator (nope can't remember what msts calls the thing that you use to change speed) are there different settings like
Woah, Gee up etc?

Re: Manchester to Liverpool Route (Stephens Rocket time)
NWE covers the route... so the hard works been done.. just take out the appropriate signals and station / station lamps, adjust the scenery, and HEY PRESTO....!cousinit796 wrote:I would like to know if there is a Manchester to Liverpool route aroung the time of Stephens rocket and if there isn't could someone please make it

It was the Route via Newton-le-Willows... The "Huskisson Monument" depicted (rather poorly) in NWE is the point where, on the 15th September 1830, The Right Honourable William Huskisson, MP met his death on the opening day of the railroad at the now defunct Parkside Station, and thus became the first person in the world to be killed by a Locomotive.simont wrote:Which Liverpool - Manchester route was the first one, then? Was it the Hunts Cross - Widnes - Warrington, or the Huyton - Earlstown - Eccles?
I'm just asking out of interest, this isn't an offer to build it...
Here endeth the History Lesson
If anyone is interested, there is an excellent book on how the railway came into being... "The Last Journey of William Huskisson" by Simon Garfield. ISBN 0-571-21048-1
