apart from what is available here can anyone point me to some good vegetation that looks similar to that used in this pic from thomas the tank engine as some of you may know i am trying to re create the route and need some vegetation to decerate it as i am stuck with the default MS tree's :(

Ian Jenkins trees on here are first class.

Also, if you go over to Trainsim.com a guy called Phil Voxland has uploaded some superb conifers and silver birches in a tree pack (unfortunately no seasonal textures) which really look the biz.

As part of my Far North workover I'm ripping out all the default trees (apart from the distant stuff) and replacing with IJ's or the Voxland collection.

However the main thing is no matter how good the models, the sim can't really handle that dense overgrown effect you get alongside a railway line or on wasteground etc., not without busting the object limit and killing the frame rate.

Get yourself some lichen from a model shop and scan it in.
Thats whats used in the picture.
