Sad thing is that there is nothing left of Dennys (lived next to the old ship yard for 2 years before moving to the banks of Loch Lomand, well Balloch anyway,7 miles down the road) all that is left is the water tank for testing models of ships, and that is in a small museum.snowcrashandy wrote:Splendid choice!
Built by Dennys of Dumbarton who built a large number of ships for the railway companies in the UK.
Fitted with 6 English Electric engines too, the marine equivalent of the engines installed in BR's Class 40s.
