Don't worry Bob - I think all of us are aware that there are idiots visiting this site that would say that just for the sake of it, purely to wind people up.... Perhaps the poster would like to give us some rational explanation?

I'm gonna have to come clean here. It was an accident. I can swear hand on heart that i give the backing to any MSTS/MS flight sim etc project.

All i can do is state the fact that my mouse is a tad dodgy. I'm use an old Intellimouse (not that intelligient) becuase my wireless batteries are dead.
God knows ho many tmes i've had to restart Commando's 2 due to my Commano's running rather than sneaking up on someone.
You can't alter button sensitivity in the Intelli software can you?

accepted dodgy keyboards

Post by champy »

I would just like to state that my reason for posting this vote is that everyone should be able to show and create their models regardless of competition or duplication.

I have, like as it seems most of you, wanted a 58 since i have joined, but for some reason this locomotive was overlooked and now we have it in our sights its foolish to let it fall by the wayside,
so if u are a believer vote YES

otherwise for those that have dodgy keyboards and mice / hardware please form an orderly que in the servicing department over there....

yes just by the door , oops no sorry just past the gate.... SORRY CANT HEAR U YOU ARNT VERY CLOSE. lol

just kidding as long as u vote YES

Hillfarms- that 58 is a brill model and a credit to yourself, you should be proud mate, release it and let the download count do the talking!
Im currently doing a NBL class22(my first go at modelling eeeek!) and i doubt it comes anywhere near to your standard, but i will upload it when its done, if it doesnt get downloads, so what! if it does brill!
Keep up the good work!

I voted yes becasuse there's nothing wrong with duplication of a model as I said before. There used to be a 'gentleman's agreement' that models wouldn't be duplicated as members saw the sense in creating as many models as possible when MSTS first appeared.

This no longer applies.

As for the poll, the possibility of a no vote could've been avoided by having two answers 'yes' and 'yes again' which would deny those who might wish to have a wind-up :-?

The only person that expressed problems with the painted model was the author and having got that far I reckon he could've finished it.

I have to admit I could see some potential problems with the unpainted model and I hope the author of that one is not put off by this thread.

I know Dale in particular, was determined to save this loco, so the fate of this one was always assured 8)

Cheers

Is this the thread for the class 58 preservation appeal? Add my name to the list... Don't scrap it!
