Just a heads-up that a truly superb Airspeed Ambassador which has been built to be compatible with both 2K2 and 2K4 has been uploaded to the usual culprits, FS.com and Avsim.
For our younger viewers who only understand plastic, the Airspeed Ambassador was a British post war short haul airliner which flew with BEA, who called them "Elizabethans". Only 20 were ever built, and the type earned permanent notoriety when a member of the class (G-ALZU Lord Burghley) crashed on takeoff at Munich in February 1958 whilst returning Manchester United back to the UK, killing many of the fotball stars of the day and injuring the likes of Sir Matt Busby, and Bobby Charlton (information on the accident at http://www.munich58.co.uk ) I read somewhere that Sir Matt, who was manager of the team, never completely recovered and carried the scars and injury for years afterwards.
The model is superbly detailed, comes with panel and sounds and optional liveries and versions. It is a nice stable aircraft in flight, much like the real thing according to pilot anecdotes on the type. Worth a punt for anyone keen on traditional British metal.
It can be found a few entries along from my latest uploads, a Piper Navajo pack in various UK airline liveries (including Alpha1, the airline owned by the 18yr old) and an additional Navajo livery I missed out of the main pack for B-Cal who used two on BHX-LGW services in the late 1970's. Shameless plug but who cares.

It's a pack of repaints of JR Lucariny's FS2002 Embraer Navajo model. Comes with a new panel designed by an Alaskan Navajo pilot who sent it me for any future Navajo projects, but I aliased the sounds to the default Cessna although there are freeware Navajo sounds available, I just didn't get a reply to my e-mail asking if I could use them. The complete UK pack is packaged ready to fly and has Air Anglia, Alpha1, British Northwest and Wessex, and there is the additional download for B-Cal.
The Ambassador is really docile to fly and looks good. There are more liveries to come, and I wonder if anyone will do an MUFC tribute version as "Lord Burghley"? It also has the usual eye candy opening doors and if you press / you get a set of steps. Which will even take off with you if you want.
