Just Flight Forums

Post by bigvern »

Does anyone know if these are active at the moment? I'm trying to sign up but pressing "Agree" at the bottom of the privacy statement simply results in the same page appearing again. I've emailed their support but so far not had a reply.

Just wondered if the forum has been taken down or any other problem. Don't think it's my privacy/cookie settings as I'm getting in here alright and have set my forum accounts at Auran and TS.com back up after the recent computer crash.

They're certainly working but I see what you mean. Pressing 'Agree' seems to do nothing but refresh the page.

Is it support you are after or general chat, requests, complaints?
If it is support you might have better luck trying the dedicated support forums.

Just general chat. I'll see if their support comes back with anything but I'm sure it was like that last time I tried to register which also elicited no response from their helpdesk.

In a word Firewall.

I used my old laptop (no firewall) and filled in the reg from ok, none of my other 3 Machines or laptop (with Firewall's) would get past the agree screen.

That could be it - ouch! Well I'm not dropping my firewall just to register on a forum and a company like Just Flight should know better. Perhaps they want to poke around your MSTS/MSFS folders while you're registering just to see if you're harbouring something you shouldn't!

Well you certainly don't need to drop your firewall once you are registered. I've all my security settings set to high and firewall enabled.

Might adding the JustFlight URL or IP to "trusted sites" be a work around without having to open up your PC to all kinds of nastys? I had to do that both for BAV and AVSIM.

LOL... You don't want a Firewall, you'll need a Flamewall for that! ;) ;)
