Having just watched Hero on DVD (and very enjoyable too) I thought I would take a spin in MSFS round some of the locations. Very surprised on going to Create A Flight that there are only 44 airfields for the whole of China in the sim. Even places such as Lhasa (which I assume has an airport) doesn't appear and not under Tibet either.
Given just about every strip of grass with a shack at the end of it is listed for the USA it seems rather poor coverage. Suspect there may be politics at work, perhaps Uncle Bill doesn't want to annoy Uncle Sam or maybe the Chinese Government complained about publishing navaid etc. information in a public domain product.
Any thoughts or insights?

Its just a U.S. orientated product. In its out of the box state FS doesn't really make any secret of where its marketed at, plus I guess they've got to draw the line somewhere.
I for one would like to see them cut down on the number of strips in the middle of nowhere and make more of an effort with the medium and larger airports.
They made some steps forward with FS9 (e.g. Schipol wasn't a terrible rendition) but I'd like to see them go further.
