Well I'll be flying that leg this evening, once I've refuelled the 172. Maybe see if I can make it further West than that in one go. After all this is a round the world flight, and want to be in the air as much as possible.
Maybe I'll try it in the Wright Flier when I get enough time.
Seriously, I'm going to try and get the default Comet from Croydon to Australia sometime when I can think of a way to disable the bloody moving map part of FS. Do it properly, using dead reckoning and pilotage.
