By GS do you mean Gliding Scholarship?

If so where about are you doing it?
Im doing mine on the 6th-11th march at RAF Syerston, but sleeping at RAFC Cranwell.

Yes I do mean Gliding Scholarship it's absolutly great but a week course is better then the weekends like I do as it is easier to remeber what you are doing

Just got back today, a great week!

Didnt get much done on monday, I was in the viking on monday and tuesday, and I moved to the vigilant on wednesday. Almost went solo of thursday but time ran out!:(
Going back on friday to do the solo!

Cool all mines done in the Viking though as the is no Vigilants near where I am, I hope you go solo mate

Its been a while but I've just realised what this thread actually means...

Only one. A Kirby Cadet glider, but I think I got away with it... :oops: Thank god for RAF blue battledress.

I completed my Gliding Scholarship on monday but only gained blue wings which I think is still an achievement as I saw some people leave with no wings but on the plus side I will have the chance to go solo again as I have been offered a ground staff position which means I will get flights every now and again now where was that site with the name patches.
