Well I wish I had...I only live 15miles from where the BBMF are stationed....and do they fly over...do they heck.
All I see are these bloomin big Boeing AWACs....and the Dakota occasionally...which is nice.

They're finally going to put some "proper" engines on those then

?
Ahh the A318. Good to see the Farnborough putting on a comedy act

.
Apparently someone is operating a 747 into NCL this summer. I've been keeping an ear and eye out but having caught it yet. I've not seen a jumbo at Newcastle since BCAL were still around.

the testbed is the A343 with the Rolls Royce A380 engine on it
The 744 in NCL will probably be travelcitydirect with an Air Atlanta Icelandic 742 to MCO (It currently operates one or two flights to MCO from MAN per week, sitting idle the rest of the time!)

Sounds highly plausible. I knew Florida was popular but there is already flight by MYT, BY and TCX to the state.

Just been treated to a 10minute display....by a Spitfire...appearing at the Wragby show....(I didn't go)....but on one of the circuits he just came rattling over my house....scarring all the rooks out of the trees.
Not sure if he meant to...but he was very very low....and my house is on its own...the wife was not impressed....but I am exstatic....just wish I'd had my camera (but last year he kept well away from the village)
Waiting for the Dakota now.
