SVR Autumn Steam Gala

I went to the Severn Valley Railway's Autumn steam gala last Friday and had a great day out. Some good sunshine, amongst some cloudy spells, with many trains looking reasonably well filled for a Friday. It was good to see 'The Flying Pig', 43106, in service again after over 20 years laid up. My photos of the day can be seen on my fotopic site.

Cheers,

Paul

Sadly you wont be seeing 813 for a while now its had its 10 year ticket pulled due to the condition of its firebox, but at least it went out in style over the gala...........and I got a play on it- it had evaded me on its rare service outings on the valley until then!

If I know the crew for the Kinlet charters like I do, you'll be in for some quality entertainment smoke and noise wise!

Certainly hope so! but the weather does'nt look very favourable at the moment. I've no doubt I still enjoy it come rain or shine! My favorite shots of 813 are in the station on Friday night and Just after departing Hampton loade on Sunday morning! http://rickeborallphotography.fotopic.n ... 70477.html
