Today, green thumper 1001 worked 1Z10 Hastings to Bournemouth. Here are somes hots of it at Byfleet and New Haw.

Yea they are lovley trains.

I have been lucky enough the travel on this very thumper "1001". It was being used on the hastings - ashford due to a lack of turbostars. I think that is the reason. Either way i got on it from Hastings to Rye.
