St.Pancras

Post by evilatco »

Hi folks,

Whilst being aware that these kinds of photos have been shown a lot lately, I thought I would add my recent photos of the engineering marvel that is St.Pancras.

As with everything I post... thoughts, comments and points of techniques are most welcome.

Kind Regards

Mark :-D

Hi Mark, very nice pic's, I've been watching the program on tv, (no chance of me getting down there for a good while  )
Do you mind me asking what camera gear you are using?
Kev.

Hi and thanks folks :) Much appreciated :D

Hi Crimpsal... I'm using a Canon EOS40D body with three main lenses these being the 24-105mm L Series, the 100-400mm L Series and the 10-22mm EFS. I occasionally use a Speedlite 580EX flash as well. It can sometimes feel a lot to carry about (the 100-400 is 1.6kg on it's own) but it is really really worth it! :)

Kind Regards

Mark

Whoa!!!! that's some kit you have. :D
I'm still a film man myself, I use the Olympus OM system, it gives as perfect a result as
I could wish for (as long as I get it right  ), so not felt the need to step up to
digital yet, maybe if the OM turns it's toes up, I will make the move. :)

Hi folks,

Thank you for all your lovely comments. I'm really glad you like the photos.... All I can say is... I love taking pictures!! :D

Crimpsal.... the move to digital is well worth it I promise you!! :) Although there is something about film photography that provides a shot almost with an essence that is hard to capture with a digital sensor. As long as you are taking pic then thats the important thing.

Seasonal Regards to you all :)

You've got a good eye for a picture (and presumably a decent quality-control filter!).

Impressed
