i did say mainline, SWT consider the island line a branchline and c2c go a bit futher than the length of the isle of wight. its only 45 minutes end to end on the isle of wight isnt it.

Surely at the moment Island Line is seperate from SWT ?
Its a stagecoach company, but its not actually SWT.
The new franchise will bring them together as part of the same deal, which may or may not be a good idea.

Maybe its the next possible 'Heritage Line' for SWT ?
