Well, Tuesday saw me toddle along to the Ffestiniog, where, the Ricket was operating (Taliesin had apparently failed). Here are some of the 100+ photos my Dad and I took. :o

Now that brings back some great memories! :D

Did a return trip on the line whilst on holiday with my parents back in 1984!! I was 10 years old at the time.

Nice pics of a fine machine
i dont get your point about using 3 road though its always used for running round at port.

Nice pics :) I agree with Tim though, having a coal wagon in 2 road wouldn't have made a difference, locos always use 3 road runing round at Port.

Just realised looking at your pics the difference between the weather at Portmadog and Blaenau is quite alot!
