Perhaps its one of them eyes on the side of ur head drawbacks....
They tend to feel the danger before they see it?!?

Actually, 170101 got up close and personal with a tractor (!) of the road kind.

Out of interest, what was that? I've heard of people dropping wheelie bins on the line from a footbridge in Hatherly (one full of ballast!) which trains have hit causing minor damage (the one with ballast was found by a policeman).
Awaiting a computer that'll run KRS... *twiddles thumbs*

i got on an electrostar a couple of weeks ago from horsham-pulborough and when i went back i had the same train (i know because it had a pigeon splattered all over the light cluster area) i then saw it again later on at clapham junction :lol: :lol: :lol:

got some GNERs with kills today

Either that or it was a rather bouncy pigeon....

If I'd bothered taking a photo of a meridian one day going through Harpenden I would have got an impact shot. I just heard a big thud then the pidgoen flew into the air and landed on the track. Just trying to find the phot..........
