I really enjoyed the trip, the guard was very friendly (and let us take 2 round trips!), and the driver even pulled the blinds down so we could see out the front.

If only all DMUs were like this! :wink:

Also saw a 66 and plenty of 'A stock' on the Met.

Wow, I didn't even realise Chiltern still had a 121 :)

It's a cute wee train, and it's got a lovely little line to trundle along. I always deliberately travel to London via Risborough if it's bubble car time of day :)

I much prefer a good Class 101, or a Class 127, although the Class 121 Chiltern have is rather lovely.

Any Mk1 DMU is pretty nice in general, although on the 101/127 side I guess I could be biased in that sense. ;)

It runs between Risborough and Ayelsbury.

Southern occasional use a Class 202 DEMU between Hastings and Ashford International.
