Well Circular Trip Birmingham New street-Minffordd-Blaenau Ffestiniog-Llandudno Junction-Crewe-Birmingham New Steet using my Railcard(DPRC) Single New street to Shrewsbury,North and Mid Wales Day Ranger also valid on Ffess Rail and Single Chester to New street and Here are some pictures.......................

I take it that the train in the last picture is that new Simens DMU that is going to replace the current Pennine stock :-?

There called 'Simens' I think :-?

There building a depot at Manchester Piccadilly for there Transpennine fleet :o

Its a class 350 Desiro. They are used on Birmingham to Preston, Birmingham to Northampton and Northampton to London Euston

Hi

As good as being in a bar car is, it doesn't beat being in one of the hudson toastracks - when we travelled on the line a few weeks back we were in the most open one and travelling through the tunnels was just superb!
