Assorted NYMR

Post by nigelgresley »

Having for a long time enjoyed the fruits of other people's work on this forum, I decided to add some of my own. Please note that these are of variable quality - let me point out that I was in my early teens when the earliest of these were taken. Therefore, I am now taking photos of much better quality than some of these. If I can get my scanner fixed then I will share some of the latest ones with you.

Hi some interesting (and unusal - but thats good) Shots. i particulary like the one of 4277 leaving Grosmont, thought it is a bit on the darkside (is that a scanning issue?)

My real question is when were these taken. Its obviously the late 90,s but i can't work it out for sure, 1997/8?

Yes the darkness is due to scanning problems. These were mostly taken in the late 1990s. Unfortunately I can't remeber exactly which for each shot, I think the majority of them will be from late 1998 as I spent a coupe of weeks up at Grosmont. However, some are from much earlier than this, and a couple (4277 in BR Black & one of the 34101 ones are from about 2000/2001).

Thanks for your comments.
