47851 returns..

Some pics of today and Friday's charters, 47851 worked a charter down on Friday night to St Austell, and returned it today.
Despite the run down being up to 90 minutes early at some places, it was held at plymouth to let the mega-delayed FGW service with 43004 (MTU) past, which was 2 hours late. Train ended up arriving at St Austell about 10 down from its booked time.
The train stabled at Plymouth over the weekend and 31602 dragged it down to St Austell again this morning. The passengers arrived at the station after their weekend break in Cornwall, and their train is seen thrashing past Bodmin Parkway in full sun at around 10:05 this morning. Big up the dvr for the excellent thrash, top notch
Lovely to hear a bit of brush thrash back in Cornwall!!

A class 158 arrives at Bodmin Parkway, this train almost got in the way of the shot of the 47 - there were centimetres to spare as they passed infront of my lens!!

With the turbo screaming, 851 passes Bod Parkway with a little clag at the exhaust

Which is why I had to go to Bodmin Parkway and get about 1/2 a coach in the frame.
. I still don't class 31's as Brush engines though...
