Apparently EWS are going to try and have as many as 96 active 60s by the end of the summer. They are currently working on many stored examples, I think.

And what a shame the loadhaul 122 has been left to become such a mess!

96 running 60s... heck, thats a bit optimistic, i should think that more than 4 have already been quite heavily robbed to keep the rest going... Wouldn't put money on it though.
Interesting pics, very sad to see 37672 laid up rotting - ex cornish beastie

Yeah, 96 is the optimistic end. Even the most pessimistic ones still seem to be going for between 85 and 90 though, so not bad.

EWS has stored a 66.
66047 i think
Its been out for ages so they have stored it till it can be repaired...
Lest hope the same problems kills atleast 3/4s of the fleet off...
I wouldnt mind the odd 66 now and again...

66047 has wheel problems or something, apparently it was stored for 6 months before, and has never really been quite 'right' from delivery.
