Now that is looking better. Interesting art / graffitti depending on your point of view.

Much better! Euston photos are understandably blurred - its really bad light there. Big improvement over other efforts, keep it up :)

Julian,

Now that is a lot better, my last post (You Just Harrow toppic) is totaly wrong, it may have been you  but if you do happen to get distortion again, get someone to check your camera's CCD please!

Nice and in focus though standing slightly futher back and incorporating more of the trains would probably have produced a better composition you seem to be improving on how you take photos :D keep it up!

It's not that the CCD is at fault, it's just of not very good quality. Julian's camera has a digital zoom, meaning that the camera has a fixed lens. Therefore, instead of causing a motion blur effect, the image is "dragged" accross the CCD, as the shutter cannot close over it quickly, which makes the bending effect.

Nothing wrong with the camera, other than it's not really intended to be used on fast moving objects - more for family snaps etc.

Those pictures are much better Julian, I knew you would get better with practice.

I use my 35mm for moving trains and my digital for stationary. I find it easier to take phtos of moving objects with my 35mm
