Nice photos. I had thought of filming it going through Coventry with a class 59 but it was going through at 7:20 and i didnt get up

I was late for it - Meant to get it at Hest Bank too. I had been informed it was 40' behind, but it missed out Manchester Victoria (or something) and so was on time through my neck of the woods!

This tour was supposed to go via Manchester, Bolton, Darwen, Blackburn, Hellifield and onto Carnforth... but due to it taking an age for them to couple the train up to the 92 at Bescot they went straight up the WCML..
It's all about the sound!!! :) (Excluding unit's, electric's, kettles and for now 57's, 66's and 67's)

Ah - I heard it was held at Leamington due to overrunning engineering - either way, it caught me out!

Nice pics Martin, was this the first passenger train that 66951 has worked, does anyone know?

Looking at that picture of a timetable, that place really does seem exciting... :lol:

Oh yes indeed. What you can't see is the fact that to get to many of the destinations requires a change at Lancaster:
