Never realised untill the train had past that this was Stevenson, DOH!

This station is celabrating 125 years, and it has to be said in my opinion, it has to be one of the grandest stations.

Accordingly, some 1000 Trains and 70,000 Passengers visit this station per day, if you spend time on the station you can see this is true.

This is now what Scotrail are using for the Glasgow Central - North Berwick service, seems to me a bit short sighted, with a maximum speed of 75MPH and not a very good acceleration rate, compared to say a class 170.

No, they're great pics. I wish I lived somewhere with such an interesting range of traffic.

Just a pit of a joke with the "Obviously there no good." thing :)

I was hoping to see a 87 hauled train, i did and it had to be 87101.
the first and probably the last time i see this.

The good thing about living in the strathclyde area is the wide range of tickets. The best one being The Day Tripper, you can use it an all trains in the Strathclyde area, and most buses, for only £8.00 for one adult and £15.00 for 2 adults and up to 4 children.

In my opinion, we have one of the best bus and train services in the country up here.

To be pedantic, it's actually 87001, only with 101's old name. 101 was scrapped, sadly.
