Quite a busy weekend down here! We've had;

47813 down on a vice saturday (return yesterday with me and about 60 bashers on board)

5029 and 5051 down on saturday, returns today

67005 ("one's skip") returning the kettle tour

GNER to Newquay

Little did we think we'd see another Virgin HST down in Cornwall! Summer timetable pressures have, however, puersaded virgin to hire the stock back for trips to Newquay. On the sunny afternoon one of the HSTs passes Moorswater near Liskeard

It's worth noting that this was 47813s last booked run with FGW before they hand it back to porterbrook. She wasnt at all healthy, the turbo was "chirping" all the way, and balls of flame were often seen from the exhaust. Could be an RIP job :( Very hellfire up the devon banks though! Many arms were out the windows at Dawlish :lol:

Nice pics - sky looks an odd colour though!

Yeh, the whitebalance was set-up wrong, didnt have time to manually alter it for each photo :)
