Quite a busy weekend down here! We've had;
47813 down on a vice saturday (return yesterday with me and about 60 bashers on board)
5029 and 5051 down on saturday, returns today
67005 ("one's skip") returning the kettle tour
GNER to Newquay
So I went out for the phots

FGW HST at middleway, St Blazey

GNER HST at middleway

desprate going away shot of the GNER

Random HST near Burngullow

Kettles at Burngullow

chuff

Tamper in the old St Austell motorail bay - this track hasnt been used for many many years

47813 approaches a bridge in the middle of nowhere with the down vice

Little did we think we'd see another Virgin HST down in Cornwall! Summer timetable pressures have, however, puersaded virgin to hire the stock back for trips to Newquay. On the sunny afternoon one of the HSTs passes Moorswater near Liskeard

Back Power Car

Random reggie rail unit
Penzance kettles and 47813's return Vice - also photos of 57604 with the sleeper stock

5029 at Penzance. Damn fence..

5051 and 5029 prepare to top and tail the train to St Blazey for turning

off they chuff

47813 (my loco for the day) and two "Fag Packet" livery HSTs at Long Rock

57604 shunting

57604 waits with the up beds, which will leave Penzance later at 10pm

47813 pulls out the depot

ECS to Penzance

Just like the old days! 47813 next to the famous Penzance Retaining wall

brief call at Plymouth

Exeter where we bailed

My lordes!
Enjoy
It's worth noting that this was 47813s last booked run with FGW before they hand it back to porterbrook. She wasnt at all healthy, the turbo was "chirping" all the way, and balls of flame were often seen from the exhaust. Could be an RIP job
Very hellfire up the devon banks though! Many arms were out the windows at Dawlish
