My First Attempt At Rail Photography

Hey Guys,

The below pics are my first attempts at rail photography, ever, so please, please, please be nice, i'd really appreciate it. Feel free to comment :)

Very nice

Just one comment - forget digital zoom! I see you used it in one of the shots, and while it does give that extra zoom it also causes a severe quality loss, as it zooms in on the picture, not actually the subject, if you get what I mean.

Nice pics, good to see the "Black Dub-Dee" in action, 90775 was one of my favorites when it was shedded at Grosmont :D

Apparently they did a temporary swap with another preserved railway. The B12 for 90775 :) they had her working almost daily when i visited :)

Excellent photos! 90775 does seem to spend more time in service than out - which obviously isn't a bad thing :D . Better than that diesel...thing anyway :wink: . By the way, I believe that's our Class 27.

cheers for the compliments mate, yeah, they do seem to have that out quite often lol, but i can not wait for the greatful return of the B12 :)

The B12 is currently up at the East lancs, where I've had the pleasure of firing her a many times. Don't know abou the 'swap' as we've never had 90775, but i'll be sad to see 61572 go :(.

many ppl will m8 means were stuck with a jubilee on its own again but 45337 is supposed to back for the war event so its not all bad :)
